What to do??

I'm expecting our second child... and I'm really starting to slow down!! My 20-month old however, IS NOT!! How do I keep her entertained and exert all this energy she has without completely exhausting myself??!! Any suggestions?

Boy, I envy you - not! I know you know this, but maybe if you mix up her/your day with up and down times - maybe a trip to the wading pool (relaxing and active and fun), lunch, nap (?), joint activity followed by a video and then maybe an art project or a book. As the day winds down, turn over duties to someone else and put your feet up for a few. Invite relatives for short visits or ask them to take her for a walk. Even if you take her for a walk yourself, you'll be surprised at how relaxed you'll feel, even if you were almost too tired to go. I guess I could have just written "balance" and "variation" because that's my advice in a nutshell.
